Hello! My name is Lee Nielsen. I teach grade four English at our school.
I have called Sylvan Lake home ever since I can remember and I am very fortunate to teach in the town I grew up in. After pursuing a degree in Education, I graduated from the RDC/U of A Collaborative Middle Years Program in 2006 and I have been working at Steffie Woima ever since. As a past Sylvan Lake student myself, I am happy to continue to be a part of the school community in our town.
When I am not teaching I am spending time with family and friends. My husband, Tanner, and I have two amazing boys named Jake and Kaleb. We enjoy spending time in the outdoors. Camping, fishing, quadding, playing a variety of sports, and hiking are some of our favorite past times!
