Hello, my name is Janelle Aubin, and I am the grade 6 French Immersion teacher. This is my first year teaching, and I am very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to begin my teaching career at Steffie Woima. I am from Falher, a small, French, farming community in northern Alberta. Fun fact, Falher is the Honey Capital of Canada. I, myself, am a product of French Immersion education as well. Growing up bilingual, I see first- hand the many benefits that exist by knowing a second language.
I strongly believe that fostering positive relationships with my students is essential as a teacher. I am very excited to be learning alongside my students, as I learn from them, just as they learn from me.
When I am not at school, I love spending time with friends and family, camping, and fishing.
