Which Sylvan school will my child attend?
Sylvan Lake schools are designated based on your address. With the exception of French Immersion which will all attend Steffie Woima school.

VOLUNTEER DOCUMENTS
Parent Volunteers require
- a current Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector search,
- a Child Intervention Search,
- a signed Oath of Confidentiality.
- and a Statutory Declaration that will make your checks valid for 3 years.
Criminal Records including Vulnerable Sector checks can be done at the local RCMP detachment. You will need a volunteer letter. This can be obtained from your child's teacher or the school office.
Child Intervention Checks can be requested by emailing cs.472reddeer@gov.ab.ca. They will send you the forms to complete. Please direct any questions to Children's Services.
